
Building Your Referral Network
An ideal place to start is at industry events or conferences, at your local Home Builders Association or Sales and or at the local committees and groups you might be involved with. Tradeshow or home shows within your local area are a great place to network.
But don’t forget that a lot of the opportunities are in front of you when you least expect them…when you’re doing day-to-day business, grocery store, the coffee shop or local suppliers – any activities where you happen to run into different people are opportunities to network, get a contact and ask for a referral.
